Willow Mill has been a seasonal home for campers in Rio, Wisconsin since 1968. Our long term sites are large, shaded, and fully hooked up — water, sewer, and electric — on the water in Columbia County. If you’re looking for a seasonal spot that feels like a community, this is it.
Welcome to the Community
There’s a reason people come back to Willow Mill season after season. The property sits along County Highway SS behind gated entry, with oversized sites shaded by mature trees, picnic tables and fire rings at each one, and lakefront sites available for those who want to wake up at the water’s edge. It’s a well-established campground with a long term community that’s been building for decades.
On the practical side, we have everything you need to stay comfortable for a full season. Laundry facilities, private bathrooms open 24/7, a dump station, propane refills, and free WiFi near the camp store keep the day-to-day running smoothly. The camp store carries RV supplies, firewood, ice, and everyday essentials so you’re not making constant trips into town. We’re also pet friendly with a dog park on the property so your furry friends have somewhere to stretch their legs. View our full list of amenities.
When you’re ready to get out and explore, Rio is really well situated. Madison is about 30 miles southwest — a city with farmers markets, live music, great restaurants, and major employers like Epic Systems and the University of Wisconsin for those here on work assignments. Wisconsin Dells is only about 35 miles north for a change of pace, and Devils Lake State Park and the Wisconsin River corridor are both close by for outdoor recreation closer to home.
