Willow Mill Campsite in Rio, WI

Welcome to Willow Mill Campsite, a family-oriented, waterfront campsite in Rio, Wisconsin, and a Columbia County favorite since 1968. Set along County Highway SS, our lakefront property features spacious, shaded campsites with picnic tables, and relaxing water views. Guests can enjoy a seasonal pool, kayak rentals, mini golf, a game room, pavilion, and a pet-friendly dog park. The camp store offers firewood, ice, RV supplies, propane refills, snacks, and frozen foods, while practical amenities include laundry facilities, private bathrooms, and free WiFi near the store. Open through October 15, Willow Mill is a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors.

Located near some of Wisconsin’s top destinations, Willow Mill makes an excellent home base for exploring the area. Madison, about 30 miles southwest, offers attractions such as Henry Vilas Zoo, Capitol Square, State Street, and Lake Mendota. Wisconsin Dells, roughly 35 miles north, is famous for its waterparks, river tours, and family attractions. Closer to camp, Chandler Park provides additional outdoor recreation opportunities. Whether you're planning a quiet camping retreat or a fun-filled family getaway, Willow Mill Campsite offers the perfect balance of comfort, recreation, and convenience.

What a great group of people over here. Didn't camp there due to the fact my family has property about 10 minutes up the road. However on our way into town from ohio I missed the last truck stop with water. Called ahead and for what I would say was an extremely fair price let me pull in and fill my camper up with water. The maintenance guy and filled it then went and unlocked a gate on the other side so I didnt have to try and back out or drive all the way through and around. Even though I wasn't going to be camping there the friendliness of the staff was amazing. Thank you guys

We love camping at Willow Mills Campground. It needs work, but the friendly staff is doing an amazing job at fixing it up and making it come alive again. Everyone is so caring and accommodating. Keep up the good work and we will see you in August.

Our family has been blessed to experience a camping weekend and fsmily reunion at at Willow Mill for 43 years in a row. Willow Mill is attractive, and well run with a large group of permanent capers plus week-end influxes of families. It is located on a 25 acre pond with a steady stream of activities, a pool, a game room and a campground store. The operators of the campgrounds are the 3rd generstion of the original family to open the business. They maintain the campground in excellent condition and expect campers to sow respect for the property and other campers. One large cabin is also available for families without camping equipment.

Absolutely love this place. Have been going since I was a kid. Our family now has 2 permanent campsites which allows us to have our family together for most of the summer. Great activities for all ages. Love that my son his wife and my granddaughter get to spend time with their cousins, aunts and gradmas all thanks to my mom who started this for us all. You can get involved with volunteering. The annual EMS fundraiser is a great weekend to volunteer and help raise money for a great group of volunteer EMS and fire fighters. Our kids enjoy the pool , game room and trails or just relaxing by a nice fire!!!
